REMINISCENCE

When the legendary Chang E flew to the moon after consuming the elixir of life, she was bored that there was nothing on the moon. So there appeared a rabbit to play with her. However, soon she became bored with the rabbit too, so she decided to open a mooncake factory. Reason why nobody have seen it is because nobody has the ability to see it yet. Anyway, Chang E was making the mooncakes but there was a glut, taking up factory space. So, she came up with this ingenious idea of making the mooncakes available to the earth people, where the consumption market was much more enormous. As a result, she was able to continue manufacturing mooncakes and yet not take up too much factory space.

So how does she transport the mooncakes to earth? Easy... First of all, the space is devoid of light for the main reason that we cannot see in the dark. So Chang E uses this fact to transport the mooncakes under the cover of darkness. So the mooncakes were transported to earth, however, they stopped just right at hell's gate. Thus, at the seventh month, when the hell's gate open, spirits come forth to feast. When all the hungry ghosts have gone out, other spirits deliver these mooncakes to various parts of the earth. So, that's why at the end of the seventh month, there are always mooncakes available to eat.
