On the 10th of December, Nanyang Junior College lost one of its beloved Physical Education teachers in a fatal automobile accident in New Zealand.
Mr John Lim and his wife Mrs Lim Poh Yoke were on their honeymoon in New Zealand when their car was involved in the crash that ended their lives abruptly. They had just been married in November this year.
Mr John Lim was an inspirational teacher who had given three years of invaluable service to education and to the college. He was actively involved in organising the annual Leadership Training Camp for students right up to the final days preceding his honeymoon.
The demise of Mr and Mrs John Lim has greatly saddened the Nanyang JC family. We offer our deepest sympathies and solemnest prayers to the families and friends of John and Poh Yoke, and to the fortunate people who have been touched by their lives.
